What I’ve been up to

Several readers have asked me, “Where have you been for nine years?” The short answer, “Hey, I’ve been busy!” Someone asked if I’d been in “suspended animation…..another (jokingly I hope) said, “I thought you’d died.” As Mark Twain put it, “Rumours of my death are premature.”

Well, to focus on the high points… In 2013 and 2014 I presented a talk at Mines & Money in Hong Kong on “Peak Gold”. On October 2, 2015 Peter Koven of the National Post wrote an article. “There’s no avoiding the gold ‘production cliff’ now.” I beat him to the punch by two years…

I did The Matterhorn Interview with Lars Schall, October 22, 2014 https://www.goldswitzerland.com and I was one of the supporters of the Swiss Gold Initiative.

On March 13, 2013 I did an interview with Jim Puplava “Buy when there is Blood in the Streets” for http://www.financialsense.com

I’ve been on King World News http://www.kingworldnews.com almost as a regular.

I got U3O8 Corp up and firmly on its feet. Only to be Fuk’ushima’d. But not to worry it is still very much alive with a fantastic project in Argentina, and now that the government is about to change there I am super bullish about the company. http://www.u3o8corp.com For matters of disclosure I just became the largest shareholder again.

Aurania Resources Ltd. http://www.auraniaresources.com is in a bit of a holding pattern right now while I investigate some new possibilities for it. My private gem company http://www.potentatemining.com is busy producing sapphires in the wilds of Montana, USA. I’ve learned to downhill ski. I’ve been parasailing a few times. I’m a Trustee of the American Numismatic Society and on the International Advisory Board of the University of Western Ontario. And I caught this lovely whopper brown trout in Patagonia!
